Welcome to Our Adventure: Carson, Melissa, and Harper’s Road Trip Journey
Hey there, and welcome to our corner of the internet! We’re Carson and Melissa, a young couple who made the life-changing decision to hit the road and explore this beautiful country full-time, with our dog Harper by our side. We’ve traded in the stability of a 9-to-5 job, the comfort of our home in Charlotte, NC, and most of our belongings for a camper and the open road. Our mission? To see all 50 states, explore every one of the 63 national parks, and experience life on our terms!
Who We Are
For years, we worked hard, saved up, and daydreamed about one day being able to retire, sell our house, and take the ultimate road trip. But as we looked around, we realized that there’s no reason to wait until we’re retired to see the world. Why not do it now, while we’re young, healthy, and full of energy? So, we decided to go for it—living life on our own terms and putting our travel dreams into action.
Along the way, we’re accompanied by our dog Harper, who’s loving the adventure as much as we are! From hiking trails to national park campgrounds, we’ve got our four-legged friend to keep us company and ensure every adventure is a little more fun.
Some say we are crazy for leaving stability and guaranteed income behind but we think it is more crazy to keep saying “someday” and risking “someday” never coming!
What We’re Doing
We’re here to inspire you to get out, explore the world, and live your own adventure! We believe travel doesn’t have to be a distant dream—it’s something you can start today. Whether you’re curious about RV living, need travel tips, or are just looking for inspiration to take the first step on your own journey, we’ve got you covered.
Our travels will take us across all 50 states, through every single national park in the country, and into Canada and Mexico! We’re aiming to create a detailed travel log of everything we see and do—from the big bucket list destinations to hidden gems we stumble upon along the way.
